Cliff is a health coach who, with his Wife Marta has helped people in 25 countries around the world reverse chronic health issues, dissolve their stress and take back their long term health. Working mainly with high powered, over-achieving business owners, the A.R.A Method gives a simple yet profound process to follow each day. Their aim is not just better sleep, a calmer mind and getting more done. Their aim is adding 10 good quality years on to your time.
Cliff was inspired to start his health coaching business from his personal health struggles. He was born with 64 degrees scoliosis and kyphosis of his spine and had three major operations by the age of three. At 15, he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. At 17, he was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumor. At 18, he got meningitis. His wife had panic attackes, depression and childhood exposure to alcoholism. Together, with various health issues, they were inspired to create their health business.
With all of Cliff’s health struggles he learned to shut down and was vacant. His biggest struggle in starting the business was mindset issues, believing in himself, and deserving self worth, as he experienced bullying when he was young. In the first year, he had small annual income goals, just calculating time for money. Now, if the business doesn’t make in a month what he first thought he could make in a year, then business isn’t going well. Cliff learned to let go of the version of himself that didn’t get the result and let go of that attachment.
Because of his own journey, Cliff is most passionate about is the brain and how the brain is massively implicated in issues like autoimmune diseases or chronic inflammation issues. He and his wife Marta conduct workshops on the conditioning of the brain – brain inflammation, brain fog and cognitive decline, as well as sleep.
Cliff and Marta’s vision in their lifestyle business is to have big impact while minimizing stress. They have learned to be careful what they say yes to in order to have more time to enjoy life. Everything they plan in their business it put through the filter of asking – how much time will this take from us? They don’t need to build a conglomerate. They have high profit margins and low expenses. They’ve encountered entrepreneurs who have seven figure businesses but in a bad month could go under, so for them profit matters far more than turnover.
“Good news or bad news – It’s all on you.” You can look at yourself inwardly and no tself judge. If you do (or you don’t do something), you can look positively – “Wow, I did this!” If you don’t do what you set out to do, you can always change the action or belief, whatever you need to.
Have people around you that see more in you than you see in yourself.

Looking back, Cliff would tell his younger self – “be more gentle on yourself.” Now, he is very aware of a level of expectation that he puts on himself.
