Episode 107: Entrepreneurs Who Grew 6+ Figure Businesses With Shannon Hernandez

M. Shannon Hernandez is not your average entrepreneur. After a 15-year public teaching career, she jumped into her journey as a business owner, and within just a few years, she had built a multi-six figure business.

A sought after expert in the world of content marketing and strategy, Shannon is known globally as the creator of the Content PersonalityTM Wheel.

In 2016 Shannon founded The Confident ExpertTM Program, where she champions and rallies coaches and consultants, teaching them how to market their businesses from a place of intuition, integrity, and JOY–and make a shit-ton of money in the process.

Inspiration:
Shannon was able to build her business without affiliates and ads. She loves to teach and it was during her teaching journey where she felt she could not teach how she wanted to, this where she got her inspiration to build her business. She thought of creating an environment that will bring back her joy where she’s allowed to teach in a manner that she thinks people can learn.

Challenge:
As the first entrepreneur in her family and with no experience in business, her very first obstacle was hearing her family members telling her things like how can she leave the career she had for fifteen years and where will she get the money.

Overcoming Challenges:
She found herself a foundation coach that help her explore and figure the things that she wanted to do where she turned into a copy content writer and earned six figures within the first seven months. A lesson she learned is to know what she wants, getting clarity of what one really wants.

Passion:
She is currently passionate about water-color painting and includes it in her marketing newsletter. Another thing she has been passionate about with helping people realize their visions for their life and their business, she thinks of building a workshop and bring together six-figure businesswomen together, and to achieve their visions without waiting for years.

Vision:
Her vision is to still be having fun with her clients as much as possible in the next five years, to get her home at the Hudson River in full-paid, re-kindle a brand new relationship with her spouse, and how she will be able to feel in the next years.

Advice:
Her best advice is the quote that she lives by which is to “do the work and detach from the outcome”.

Personal Growth:
Shannon thinks that her being an entrepreneur is her greatest personal growth journey where she really has gotten in touch with her spiritual self.
